She's a pretty, fairly strattish guitar, with 1 pickup, and 1 tone/volume. However, no sound came out of her. I had to resolder her.

Once that was done, I strung her up with 11's (after starting with 9's to make sure the neck could take any tension), and tuned her down half a step. This seems to be where she's most comfortable at. If I tune her to pitch, regardless of string gauge, the tuners slip, and with anything less than 11's, the strings feel quite loose. As she is now, she's holding tune nicely.

She's got a great gritty microphonic lo-fi bluesy sound. The neck plate says E400... not sure if that's the model, but google doesn't seem to want to help. She's a plywood beast, has a pretty decent balance, and a very comfortable neck. The action is pretty low... not low enough to shred, but low enough to do bluesy lead stuff, and comfortable rhythm work all over the neck.

I'll never understand why more manufacturers don't use a zero fret. It's a brilliant idea.

Not having one is better for jangly stuff and string bending. Guitars with zero frets usually sound a bit boxy to me and I certainly wouldn't want one all the time, even though I do dig playing with one sometimes.

It's odd to me that zero frets are such a polarizing topic when they come up on guitar forums.

It looks great, like it lived in someone's closet it's whole life. How is the intonation and can it be adjusted?
