Tone
My DuoStang build has been complete for awhile and the thing is ridiculously bright sounding. I've a DiMarzio BC-1 in the bridge and a standard '65 RI in the neck. 250k pots. How can i "tone" it down a bit... compared to my PS Mustang is super twangy and bright sounding. Is that just the way it is or are there other pots etc. i can get to combat this?

It is going to be brighter and twangier than your PS Mustang due to the single coils, but it shouldn't be severe with the Corgan neck bucker in the bridge position with 250ks... you couldn't do much more than that to chunk it up.
You may have it wired up permanently split or in series or something, somewhere between the switches and pickup wires something could be going wrong as it's a more complex scheme than many just with 2-conductor pickups.

Sry, couldn't resist! But also kinda true....
There may well be a more elegant solution but if you like the character of the sound but just want less icepick you could look into one of those tone pots that don't lose mojo when you back them off. Something like the TBX tone pot mebbe?
EDIT:
Well that'll teach me not read the whole thread[/egg on my face]Mattsican wrote: I'll just keep turning the tone knob down some.
