Loved these for a few years now, & for the sounds and playability it's up there with the best IMO.
I used the money put aside from recent eBay sales to buy one for my upcoming 30th.

My friend has this guitar, it's really very nice. The piezo can be a little tinny but with proper eq'ing it sounds very good.

Funky striated cedar top?
Good times however you slice it, have been impressed by a few mid-tier Tanglewoods over here.

Thanks guys. I quite like the tinny / sterile nature of the pickup, but I know what you're referring to.

It's solid Mahogany all over, back, sides etc.
Do you mean the grain isn't parallel where it splits ? Issue ? Not sure what you were getting at.
cheers

It looks lovely
I'm getting to the point where I'm really starting to want a really decent acoustic. I have an Art & Lutherie Folk at the moment, which was a good step up from my first acoustic, but I really crave the fullness and projection you get with a good acoustic.

The pickguard sets it off. I dig.

Lovely guitar - congrats. I have a Tanglewood TW-133, which is one of their parlour-sized mahogany acoustics & I absolutely love it. Highly recommend trying some Elixir nanowebs on this....I've gone through a couple of sets on mine now & they really made it sing. Head & shoulders above the stock strings that came on mine, which were D'Addarios IIRC.

Thanks, It comes stock with Elixir Nanowebs so all good there, and they're my string of choice. Yeah, some do come equipped with Dadds.
Just noticed I got the code wrong in the Subject. It's a TW47E (not 45) and I knew this.
