Modern Player MAVERICK Build

Post by Awstin »

Here's a build that I have been wanting to do for a while. Let's see how it will go. :) I need to get a tracing/template of a Maverick body, pickguard (or xii), and headstock.

I took the Maverick and made it a little more modern with two jazzmaster pickups, a regular old toggle and a mustang plate. It kinda reminds me of the marauder. It's brother haha

Well, if someone would be so kind to be able to get me templates (I will pay shipping) then I will have cooterfinger make me the body and I will order a Eden guitar neck http://www.ebay.com/itm/160890311223?ss ... 1423.l2649 and have it cut like a maverick and then start puting it together :)

Here is what I am going for. Color may change. I was thinking maybe black as well.

From what I understand the Maverick is an electric XII with chunks chopped off and the XII shape is based on the Jazzmaster, so start there if you can't get a real tracing.
Also, search offset for the pickguard template, I found a PDF on there. (I can email if you can't find it).
