i was changing the battery in my fuzz factory a while ago and the fucking thing just snapped clean off, both wires. i can see where the black one goes (bottom lug on the input jack, to the right of the casing) but i'm a bit stumped by the red one. had a look at a wiring diagram and it connects to a numbered component on the board. trouble is, i can't see where that is on mine! the only thing i can see that looks like it may have held a cable is labelled J5, which is to the front right of the board next to the 'stab' pot. can someone with knowledge tell me if that's correct before i go daft with the soldering iron and cause more damage?

the hand painted ones have a lifetime warranty, you could send it back to ZVex for free repair, if you like since its across hte pond and all of that.

I'm guessing because designs constantly evolve. I've ordered from independent builders before and theirs are the same. I think they are still tinkering when the first boards are ordered. Changing it doesn't really matter and will take time, with no cost advantage.

Also, you're welcome
