Should I?

Post by Awstin »

So I just got offered this for my white hh mustang. Should I take it? I looked it up and these teles look to be pretty rare and there isn't much info on them. It's mahogany and there are lindy frailin pups in it.

Flames and f-holes don't mix. Save it for a pointy metal guitar. And why poo brown flames anyway?

I'd rock it, and I don't like thin lines

Could see that on some gun loving yeehaw's wall with his hunting trophies - revolting, but there might be a few quid profit in it?

In terms of flipping for a profit: yes. You'll get a fair bit for the pickups, too (although they go well with that finish, bizarrely). I know a chap who's selling some thinline pickups, so shout if you do buy it and I'll put you in touch.

Is this guitar worth it? It is mahogany with a matching headstock too.

If it's what I think it is (limited edition MIM Fender 69 thinline from a few years ago with factory flame job), then TDPRI and Fenderforum guys will love them.

That's unusual, and I don't think it's ugly.

Is the body contoured for your right arm?

Post some more pics when you get it.
