Arguably better than sex. I wrote two new songs and completely reworked a previously written song within two hours of plugging it in. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is the Kwisatz Haderach of delay pedals.

I like that. Any nominations for the Agony Box?

I have no idea, but Gom Jabbar would be a great fucking name for a pedal.

I really want to get hold of a Strymon pedal, reviews and videos I have seen have all been brilliant. Bloody expensive though.
Congrats on the Timeline, seems like all the delay pedal you would ever need.

I've owned a carbon copy, RE-20, DL4, M9, and DD-5. I cannot imagine ever needing anything other than the Timeline. Glad I sold a bunch of stuff (including the aforementioned RE-20 and DL4) to fund it.

There are a load of cool names in Dune. Years ago I wanted to call my band Giedi Prime, Shai Hulud is cool too but there is already a band called that - they're pretty good.

I've been wanting their el capstian tape echo something chronic.

Watched a couple of demos for this pedal and have to say, it's possibly the nicest sounding delay pedal I've ever heard. If I ever had that disposable income I wouldn't hesitate for a second about buying one.

I did a google search out of interest.

£399 for a Delay pedal. LOL.

£399 for a Delay pedal that isn't a Moogerfooger. LOL.

Does it do stuff that other delays can't? I'm not talking how good people think it sounds, i'm talking doing something new. Like the hazarai, that thing can do sounds i never was able to do with other pedals, and it costs 200euros new...

I dunno, I guess it's about as good as the Moog delay, looking at it now. Functionality and sound-wise. But still, both those pedals are pretty overpriced. I'd probably pick the Moog over the Strymon, but fair enough, it's a nice pedal. Just expensive.

Slightly off topic, I know, but anyone know what pedals Gurney Halley uses? I'm definitely hearing some chorus.

I sold a DL4, RE-20, and speaker cab that I all bought used at very, very reasonable prices over the past year or so. I made enough off the sales to buy this one new. So I'd like to tell myself that I wasn't being extravagant.

Yeah, this is different than most delay pedals. Definitely different than the Moog, which I'm sure is a class A++ analog delay. This thing has 12 different delay modes, all of which are excellent and some of which I've never seen on any other delay pedal (ICE, lo-fi, tremolo) and each mode has excessive tweakability. Like, really excessive. And it has a looper, and is midi sequenceable, and has a bright digital display so you can keep up with yer ms or whatever. And it is pretty small, and has 100 presets you can overwrite or not since there are another 100 slots for presets.

It's pretty cool. Expensive but I'm a delay junky, and it is a lot better than both of the used delay pedals I sold, and fuck that shitty marshall cab I got rid of.
