For handwritten, this is a nice decal. But it looks pretty hinky overall. The neck and body don't look old enough and that pickup cannot be 40 y.o. Clearly some people think it might be vintage, but I have to think it's a REISSUE.

I don't even think it's a RI. No skunk stripe on the back of neck, wonky headstock shape, modern tuners, and looks like a tru-oil finish.
It's a parts-caster that is selling for $500 too much because the buyer is dumb or a crook.

+1
Also wonky ferrules, aftermarket bridge and definitely not a 7.25" fingerboard/vintage-sized frets. The neck looks like a Mexican Standard with a bullet nut, would bet on it being a worn-out satin finish rather than tru-oil, or just a badly finished Allparts neck.
Neither the neck or body seem like they left any sort of Fender factory as a Tele Custom.

even mexican stds have a skunk stripe. my guess is that is possible could be a warmoth. They have one piece maple necks without a skunk stripe but I still think the headstock looks like a goofy shape and if that's the case, it's some $60 from ebay most likely. If the headstock is actually fine and looks good, it's a warmoth, most likely. Another dead give away would be a one pice vs two piece neck.

I was looking really closely to see if it had a maple laminate board and am still undecided (leaning towards one-piece).

I was actually leaning away from warmoth because warmoth would be easily identified if the neck was taken off AND if you look at the picture of the back, the heel sticks out way too much.
I can't believe someone just sold that POS guitar for 1K
