I've got the 59 reissue, doesn't look much but It's a great playing guitar.

goddamn. $700 for that shit. maybe if i got it second hand for $250 or less, and sanded the living fuck out of the neck, it would rule?

Nah, Epiphone's P90 special they put out last year was worse than any Melody Maker I've played so far.
