Curious what gauge of strings you guys use on your 24" guitars (or whatever scale) and what brand you prefer.
Many Thanks.

10-52 d'addario or 11-52 dean markley if I'm feeling saucy. The deans come with a wound and plain G, have wound G on my JS and plain on my Jaguar right now (though strung up the Jag with a wound G for a few months before deciding they annoy me during lead playing, which doesn't matter on the JS because it's too cramped for leads and the frets/saddles choke on bends anyway.).

I was on 10 - 52s for a decade. Billy Gibbons has convinced me to go back to skinny strings. So, 9-42s on all seven 24" guitars. I have a set of 8s, but I haven't tried them yet.

d'Addario EXL115W; the wound 3rd is incredible for tuning stability!

Ernie Ball 10-46, but I'm going to give 11s a try once I've used up all the 10s I've got lying around.

d´addarios dont last 20 days on my acid hands
its get so rusty that impossible play after 20 days
Dean markley my favorites they last 60 days cleaning aways , get dark but not rusty
Ghs also pretty awsome 40 days or so cleaning aways , also get dark but not rusty
10'' gauge here

				24" or 24 3/4"
12 - 54, or 12 - 56, one comes with a wound 3rd.. that is the ne i prefer but i'll use either.. generally D'ADdario i've bought many other brands but always go back.
25.5 i use 11 - 52 IIRC

I have always used D'Ad 52's Jazz, but the treble strings always left me wanting more bite and are harder to bend. I have been using Ernie Ball 52's heavy top/ lite bottoms... I gotta try those D'Ad heavy/lite set.

The same gauge I use on my standard scale guitar - .10-.46. I quite like the 'elastic' feel of .10s on a shorter scale. I use my 'stang for different types of riffs (leads rather than chords) so it works well for me.
