Lace gold and hot rails on a jag

Post by blyss »

Hello everyone. I currently have a little 59 on the bridge of my mij jag. Antiquity 2 on the neck. Love the sound. Traditional Jaguar jangle and twang, ang also vintage warm crunch in 1 guitar.

But recently I received a hot rails for bridge and a lace gold. Was wondering if any one has experience with this? Would the hot rails be too strong? I still want th vintage crunch. And the lace, would they be still give the jangle? I kinda love the bell like tones of a vintage strat, but I still want the jaguar jangle to be present.

Thought?

I've had a Lace Gold and "jangle" isn't the word I'd use to describe it. It's a pretty mild and smooth sounding pickup. The Hot Gold, meanwhile, that thing can jangle quite well.
