Restringing three-on-a-side headstocks annoys the living piss out of me: I found a knack for doing Fenders years ago, but have never really found a foolproof method for Gibsons that's worked for me; it's always felt too much like I'm patting my head and rubbing my tummy at the same time. This fella's method, however, is bloody smashing. Used it to do my 335 last time and it's great, then couldn't find it on youtube. Just done a good search and found it again, thought I'd bung it here a) so you lot can use it too, and b) so I can find it next time.

I use a similar method. I do the bending thing with the string as it keeps it in place whilst I restring the guitar. I then wind the string over then under and tune it to pitch, so when I'm done it looks like:

BUMPDATE: as I still find this massively handy, and I can only ever find the vid here.
Also note to future self, Memento-style: while he says to use three fingers, I prefer to use two.
