Mint Mustang Pickguard (CIJ)

Post by Apricat »

Hi SS! I'm currently shopping around for a pretty mint pickguard for my CIJ Mustang, and Latlat suggested I ask on here if anyone with the know-how would like to make one for me for monies (I'd love to encourage SS people).

Let me know! :)

Cooterfinger is the chap to see on that side of the water (I think). Pretty sure he has a whorehouse thread.

Make that two votes for getting a custom piece made. Even if you buy a genuine Fender Japan part there's no guarantee that it'll fit the body of *your* guitar. The edges might need filing around the heel of the neck, and you might have to fill in/redrill some of the screw holes to make it fit.

I had to do the former and really ought to get around to the latter and it was a real hassle. Honestly, you might as well get Cooterfinger or someone similar to custom-cut one for you!
