Best Pedal For â‚¬30?

So i won 30â‚¬ on thomann.

What would you buy for 30â‚¬ on thomann?

I'm thinking about a pedal - a ehx nano muff overdrive? Harley benton ultimate drive? Danelectro grilled cheese? Does anyone have experience with these? What would you prefer?

I've got a couple of the Harley Benton TrueTone pedals (the Fender one and the Vox one). They're pretty good for 30â‚¬. Think Mike or someone might have done a demo video of them.

I was about to say that, if I had 30â‚¬ to spend I'd get one of the true tone pedals.

The American Truetone pedal I had wa really good too, but I wouldn't buy if you want to use it as a conventional pedal though - it's more a pre-amp.

As Johnnyseven said, however, it is more of a pre-amp than a normal pedal.

I had the California (Mesa Boogie), it was a cool pedal and I do miss it sometimes as it made recording and gigging a lot easier - I could turn up and plug straight into the desk.

I might pick up the Fender one at some point as they are useful to just keep in your gigbag. Wish they had an XLR out though.

behringer superfuzz is the best sub Â£20 pedal I have used. I don't know what Thomann's prices are for other stuff but that is great for the price

What is the superfuzz a clone of? Aside from a Boss (presumably) - but what is the Boss a clone of?

Boss FZ2 - its 3 in one pedal. Treble Booster, 2 fuzz one a octave Fuzz. I think Hurb did a demo video

Boss FZ2 Hyper Fuzz. It has 3 modes:

1 is an upper octave vintage sounding fuzz, I think similar to a super fuzz so could be a clone - it's a great fuzz sound, but slightly nasty sounding - in a good way. This is the mode I use.

2 is a super scooped, heavy almost muff sounding fuzz. I think it also has a slight octave sound to it too, so not really a muff clone. This is the mode used by the guy in electric wizard.

3 is the boost mode. No subtle boost though, even with the volume and gain controls right down the volume jump is quite big (or it is on my FZ2). As it has treble and bass controls this make sthe boost mode pretty versatile. Not sure if it can be used purely as an effective treble or bass booster though, i'll have to give it a go.

But what about no-overdrive-pedals? Is there any modulationpedal or something else about â‚¬30 i should know?

Behringer Ultra Vibrato, never played one but here good things about them. A clone of the mega expensive Boss VB2.

I agree. It's a really good pedal for the price.
