What's the quality of a '65 Jag like this as far as electronics and the neck go? I know someone trying to sell one and they said they'd take 15 franklins. Should I do it?

Does that mean $1500? Do it 100%. Although if it has block inlays it won't be a '65.

Block inlays came in in late '66 I believe. Post pics.

He says he doesn't have pictures and that's the only reason he hasn't sold it yet. It's supposedly in really great condition and it's faded to a turqouise color. If it's a 66 how much would it go for on ebay or a similar site?

If he doesn't have pictures, yet he has a guitar to sell, surely he could take some. I'd find it fishy if he wouldn't.

Sounds dodgy as hell to me.

Are you talking about a vintage guitar or those new 65 reissues? If it's an old guitar nobody can tell from the far. Could be anything from awesome to junk.
If it's a new guitar it should be ok.

Bound neck with block inlay sounds like a 1966. $1500.00 could be any where from $1200-3000 less than market value depending on condition. I would call and commit to that shit right fucking now!!! Honestly sounds way to good to be true, but I hope for your sake that it is. I am extremely envious.
