Best Amp for $500

I'm looking for a new amp and don't know if there are any models I'm forgetting.
Basically I want a nice full clean shimmery sound 12.5-50 watt tube amps not really partial to combos or heads/cabs. I was looking at Gibson Skylarks, Peavey Classic 30s, various musicman amps, crate palominos,Orange AD15s and of course the Vox Ac15.
I've looked at Jet City 20's,Bugera V22's Kustom V30s, but don't really know what these brands are like.
I'd like an effects loop but it's not the most important thing. What do you guys is the best vintage sounding amp on this kinda budget?

With a budget in mind, I'd probably look towards an AC15VR.
The Fender Mustang III, IV or V (particularly if you already have a cab) are decent sound/value too.

I got both of my amps for half of what you're budget is (though I did get good deals).
Silverface Bassman - Not sure if this meets your clean criteria, but a very versatile amp. Sounds sweet.
Ampeg B25 - Like the Bassman but bassier and dirtier and meaner.

I got my Fender silverface Twin Reverb for that much. I also got a Peavey Renown 212 for much less than that. Randall JC120s can be around that and are also good.

You got an incredible deal/find then. I got mine for about $750, and that was a hard feat to accomplish.

It's gotta be tube! I'd never even heard of a Bugera. Are there any that I didn't list that are noteworthy? Max I could really go is 600.

Take a look at the Ampeg GVT15-112. I was quite skeptical then I saw David Bazan play a show through one and it blew my mind.

It is a master volume one, but I think it is awesome. I know those get a bad rap, but it sounds beautiful to me. (And yes I have played Deluxes and the others so it isn't ignorance being bliss. It is bliss being bliss.)

Yeah, mine's a '72 non-push/pull Master volume model, and I love it... But it did take me a few months of trolling eBay, etc to get it as "cheap" as I did.

You guys get such good deals on amps. When I was looking for a silverface twin the cheapest they went for over here was around £500 ($800) and normally they went for around £700-800 ($1100-1300).

Like I said, months of trolling to get it at the price I did... More perseverance than luck, though some luck sprinkled in.
That's month after getting the cash together... And a year or so while I couldn't actually afford it
