the reverb on my hot rod deluxe sounds kinda... not springy? I'm pretty sure it's the stock tank too. are here any good replacements that would sound more 60's spring like a twin or a verb unit?

You can put whatever size reverb tank you want in there as long as it's the same impedence as the original.

They're all the same classic 2 spring long decay, long tank size. It's virtually the same as what's in all fender amps except it has matched impedance to an opamp reverb driver instead of tube

Your options are going short or 3 spring or short delay

You won't get a better reverb tank than that one tbh. Look into pedals for crazier boings
