2013 Supersonic or 2013 Bass VI?

Gonna drop the cash on either a Sunfire Orange Flake Supersonic or a CAR Bass VI (and throw a regular pickup in the bridge w/ a mint guard) That matching headstock is sexy.

Bass VI all the way. I like the supersonic, but I don't love it. To me it's not better than an original one, and you can get an original one (which by virtue of MIJ vs MIM, should be a higher quality instrument) for less than they're asking for the reissue.

At least with the Bass VI, it's actually a halfway decent value compared to importing a new one from Japan or buying a vintage one.

They're so different that it's not really poll-worthy. Somebody else's opinion doesn't mean much for that decision. Which would you play more or which fills a gap in your collection?

depends, Bass VI's are nice but how often do you think you would play it?

If in your position I'd get the Bass VI, becuse I already own some guitars and no bass IVs

The way I see multiple guitars is that they are for different sounds, alt tunings etc...
There's no point having a whole bunch of guitars all with the same pickups all in standard tune.
I guess that's just my way of justifying owning more shit than I really need.
And how more alt-tuning can you get that a whole octave down?

Something tells me the Bass VI will hold its value better. I'm hoping those SuperSonics end up either selling so well they bump up the production run, or so little stores end up discounting them heavily. I'd really like an Orange Sparkle SuperSonic in my life.

I'd love a Bass VI. Just so I could play this on it:

Do you promise to abide by the result of the poll?

I know it's totally my opinion but its just a really hard decision because 1. They are both awesome. 2. They are both $800.00 and I can't afford both at the moment. Lol.

Buy the Bass VI, then.

You will NEVER find any other Bass VI than these pawn shop dealies at that price but you can buy original Super Sonics for at least a hundred dollars less than those, all day, every day.

Only if you are stuck on buying Fender.

Options <$800 -
Schecter Hellcat VI - $750
(Old) Schecter Hellcat VI - $600
Schecter Ultra VI - $650
Eastwood Sidejack VI - $700
Agile Argus 630 - $425
There are a couple others.
