NAD Fender Eighty-Five
I saw this used on Guitar Center for cheap and had to grab it. It is in pretty good shape. The reverb doesn't seem to work. I haven't fiddled with the tank, but it isn't a big deal. If I need a new tank, those are pretty cheap.

yeah, some folks like dimebag dig solid state drive/distortion to tube. you do get a different waveform from it, and the breakup is much more. . . cohesive. i've never put much thought into the tube clean sound, not consciously anyway, and certainly not from a standpoint of pairing it with a ss drive. still, there is that sag.

You can't even imagine the arguments I've had with local sellers trying to sell a "50 watt" amp that's actually a 15 watt amp.NickS wrote:The input power is 200W. Output power is rated at 85W.HNB wrote:This thing is 200 watts. No wonder it can keep up with a Twin. LOL
10 PRINT "Bite Me!"
20 GOTO 10
20 GOTO 10
Nope. I can pick it up with one arm pretty easily. Not super light, but not bad at all.JohnnyTheBoy wrote:This looks just like the bigger, older brother to my 80's Super 60...mines all valve tho..
Does that weigh an effing ton as well??..
Good to know. I wondered why it was called an Eighty-Five when it said 200 watts on the back. LOLNickS wrote:The input power is 200W. Output power is rated at 85W.HNB wrote:This thing is 200 watts. No wonder it can keep up with a Twin. LOL
I did in the youtube demo. The settings recommended for the Radiohead sound much more trebly. I need to try it with my Jag-Stang. It has a Red Red dual humbucker. Maybe my WRHB was too bright.71Smallbox wrote:I think you need to run your Shredmaster thru that beast.
