A friend of mine needed the cash, and he's a drummer - not a guitar player, so he offered me the guitar. Anyway, she's in immaculate condition. I've seen new guitars in worse shape than this one (and this one is in REALLY good shape). She sounds, well, like a Jag should I'm surprised by how good the necks are on these. She came with a Mustang Bridge, but that will get swapped out because I want the Mustang bridge for another guitar I'm working on. Also, she's getting a white pickguard tomorrow (swapped with my band's other guitar player who wanted a tort guard for his VM Jag).

Here are pics, but with a preface - she may come up for sale here soon. I don't need another guitar, and as sweet as this guitar is, I only bought it to help out a friend.

Yeah, mint on white is deadly... I'm just not always sold on white on white.

That's why I posted that other thread (white jag/black guard). I've got sandpaper and a can of black spray paint ready to go if needed.

I'm still not decided whether or not I'll keep the guitar. It's nice, but I don't really need it.

Yeah, that could work nicely. Black on white is pretty nice... not as nice as mint on white, but pretty nice

i've long since put the stock pickup back in (see 3rd image), but the avri tort is pure PRO. only thing better is actual vintage tort if you can get some and make it fit your jag's body.

That tort doesn't look THAAAT bad. It has a nice red in it. Maybe I will get a white VM Jag now instead of a CAR if I ever get one.

Then paint the switches and rollers. Or buy white switches. I got two white ones I am not using.

Aaaaand.... she's gone. My friend just came by with cash in hand to get her back. And now I want one as well.
