New? Japanese Mustangs

Was poking around the ikebe-gakki website looking at guitars I'll never own and came across these two models. Pretty cool to see Fender making a 3 pickup Mustang.

Yes. I have seen them on sale in Japan not long ago but they're all copies/clones so I'm not sure how the quality compares to a genuine fender. Bacchus make some really nice gear - I've been lusting after their bass guitars for ages - but despite doing some Mustang-ish models they all have Mustang trems. If I remember which brand it was I'll get back to you on it.

the top one makes me think of thurstons 3 pickup mustang. i have seen the bottom one before tho.

Assuming you mean the second white one, and have seen Strat pickups before...

Oops...good point...I did mean the 2nd one. I glanced past the 1st one, which I think looks hideous with 3 single coils. Thanks for the info.

Second one is a perverse Ramonesey franken-wank. First one has redundant switches.
Hack jobs.
