140 bucks is a ridiculous amount of money for a guitar so small and STAGGY
he has already asked me to paint it blue. when it gets warmer out and i can get into my shed, we will go to the hardware store and pick out some paint

That's awesome, I would have loved to start with something like that. I played a 3/4 size classical from the age of 5 till about 10 which when I first started was really a bit much.
You'd be amazed how fast young children can pick up music.

That put a big smile on my face when I saw it on Facebook. I used to use it as a travel guitar. It has like an 18" scale and chunky neck. I think I got if for around 70 bucks new. The push pull vol/tone is infinite fun and every young man needs a kill switch. One night about 4 years ago I decided it needed string throughs at 2 in the morning; was the whiskey talking. That why it is so messed up on the back.
It had been sitting around for a couple years without getting played, hence the rusty strings.
