Okay, so I got the awesome custom fuzz Mike did me a while back but I've not had the time to make the demo it deserves. AND I STILL DON'T
But I bought a Dean Markley Overload toooooooob overdrive/distortion from fellowscaler Jaded and thought I'd just share both for all you Vicarious Victors out there:

MR. MOUSTACHE!!
Mike's fuzz sounds absolutely amazing, but the Dean Markley sounds rightfully nice as well.

Both sound great, that fuzz seems really versatile and that that Dean Markley sounds very amplike.

It really is, it's SO rare to find a pedal does 'pretty much clean' up to 'overloaded vintage stack' in such a way. Dead impressed.

lol'd so fucking hard leading to coughing fit at Dream Weaver bit, despite lateness of the hour. Some things are unpreventable.
Both great sounding pedals, that Overload sounds swank as hell.
I thought you called your amp "L. Ron Hundred" for a second. Great indie noize name.

Hahaha, might have to use that.
I realised I do actually have a suitable mic and stand here in London, so I'm gonna try and do a proper demo of both at some point over the week.. gotta show off the greatness displayed, even when using the superclean HH L Ron Hundred.

There's DIY schematics out there for the Overlord; this might be a fun project/possible new pedal for you Mike, it really does sound pretty good.

Aye I'm sure, it sounds very nice. However valves in pedals and protecting them is a bit next level for me at the moment
