Sounds weird, but I want to morph some vocals to have a much more feminine timbre than the original stem. I think everyone knows the trick of just sticking everything up an octave or recording extra slow and banging the speed up on a deck and re-sampling. I know theres some stuff on the market that will do this for me, but I don't want to drop dollar and I don't really want to get some outboard to send return to. I also don't want to Antares too hard.
It's more that I have this sound in mind of some very heavily re-sampled male vocals getting morphed throughout a section of music. Do you guys know of any freeware VSTs that could achieve this? Failing that do you know any closed source products that I could buy to get this sort of thing going?
i use ivoxel on iphone for this exact thing plus kraftwerk type robot stuff. I have antares also and i would use the harmony engine to get a female sound but that can get away from you easily.
