Note the distinctive tom anderson "super rock II humbuckers" and low cut/high cut switches

Schecter Japan is quite classy. However the rest of the world gets black cherry finishes and endless synyster gates sigs

A bit more of an extreme example from ESP/Edwards

those teles remind me of the tele elite fender did back in the 80's; i kinda dig em, but the bald looking maple is not to my liking.
i secretly want a floyd equiped guitar and a tele would be the perfect "check out that dudes cred, he's got a tele, WTF?! is that a floyd"

Ive also never liked the natural finishes for electrics. Too pedestrian for my tastes. You should check for these on ebay, but it doesnt seem like they pop up too often.

While I would never own one of these, I think they look super classy. In a gaudy, 1980s sort of coked-out way.

Guitar manufacturers call this "ornate".

I know what you mean, binding out the butthole etc... bit fancier than you often see these types of guitars looking, not that it's never done. Reminds me of a cross between an older ESP (for the general look and pickup config) and a Jem (for the flowery inlay).

edit- PROBABLY REMINDS ME OF AN ESP BECAUSE IT IS ONE, I should learn to read.

I like how 'different' they seem.
And the strange finishes are nice..

They look like ornate Roman pillars/statues/carvings.
