Speaker wiring switch

I currently have two 16 ohm speakers wired to independent input jacks, giving my cabinet two 16ohm inputs. I'd like to keep this setup but also add an extra input which allows me to switch the wiring to parallel, giving me a single 8ohm input as well.
Would somebody be able to draw up a wiring diagram to be able to do this? Would a physical switch be required to switch between wirings?

I put one in my cab as my Orange has 8 and 16 Ohm outputs but my Bassman has 4 Ohm. My speakers are 8 Ohm so it will give the combination marked on the plate, however, if you use 16 Ohm speakers you'll get 2x 16 Ohm stereo inputs plus one 8 Ohm mono and one 32 Ohm mono. Comes with wiring diagrams.

On the 4-tag socket, one speaker should be connected to the two tags that each have a long contact that gets pushed up when you put the plug in. Connect the other two tags to the tags on the 2-tag socket.
When you only have a jack in the socket with two tags, the speakers will be in parallel because the contacts are closed on the 4-tag socket = 8 ohms
When you have a jack in the 4-tag socket it will break the connections between the long and short contacts. That socket will then only connect to the one speaker, and the 2-tag socket will be connected only to the other speaker = 2x 16 ohms.

Yes, if you can get two cables into one jack plug.
