Go to your local car garage that does spraying. Uber cheapness and great work.

I am considering that, but the body has some dents etc. The refin on it is so shit that it needs a bit of prepping I think.

indeed, auto body shop, then get a can of some filler, or bondo. or get out some sand paper and start going at it. and then spray the primer and let them do the rest. the better off you give them the gutiar body, the more likely the chance for a good price.

He's done some excellent work on my guitars, but I've never got a refin done. I have heard good things about his refinishing, and hear he is quite the perfectionist. Could be worth dropping him an email?
