Fucking hell, Korg are fucking KILLING with this shit just recently.

I have had a hankering for the MS20 since it was announced and I think I'm leaning toward bagging it next month if I can stretch to it. Then maybe the Volca Rhythm...

I was about to post this! They look sooo good. Definitely buying the beats one.

The beats one does look good - might tempt me to ditch my Electribe ER.

That sync thing looks great. Get the Beats and Bass ones and just wail over the top with a monotron. ALL ANALOGUE DEWD.

With the rhythm box and only the sync and midi in would there be a way of syncing it up to other instruments?

If it's anything like the Monotribe's sync, the input will accept clock pulses or an audio signal with consistent level and the sync output is a 5V pulse -- both with selectable polarity. I'm sure the Korg SyncKontrol iOS app will also work as it does with the Monotribe. Not sure about the MIDI implementation.

At the 7:00 mark here, there's some nonsense about Monotribe's sync. I imagine it will be implemented in the same way on the Volcas:

I mean, I know Korg is definitely in a financial position to offer bottom line pricing on their wares but HOLY CRAP! You can't even get a decent analog delay for that kind of money.

No, it's unreal for the money. I'm shocked.

You can get an MS-20 mini and all of these and still come out around $1000 USD. To paraphrase my earlier sentiment on FB, this is a welcomed giant middle finger to Roland by Korg.

I saw someplace with $340 preorder for all three, but I have never heard of the site, so I don't trust it!
But that would be a pretty sweet deal.

There is a uk site offering all 3 on pre order for £360 but I'd rather wait until release. But shiiiiit, a 303 clone, analog drum machine & an analog polyphonic synth for £360 is amazing. Wow wants to buy my R3

Anyone know when these are released in the UK? Some sites have them for order whereas some are still pre-order.
I want to get the beats one! 8)
