Since its cheap and chinese, I can't judge the quality.

Wondering if I'd just be better saving a little more for something better.
Or if anyone could recommend a decent (100$) tele neck with the correct headstock.

Guitarpartsonline.com has good, cheap necks. Never had the first issue with those folks.

- -Made in China by 4 year old children that have 3 fingers per hand.
-Enjoy hell if you buy.
-Made with only the finest maple grown next to nuclear power plans. So your strings will glow... even if they're not horrible glowing strings.
-Basswood neck.
I'm sure that one of those is true. Possibly more.

Lol. When it arrives it's just painted cardboard.

Also, you have to be super careful buying necks like this off ebay. It doesn't mention the scale or the heel size, so besides the fact that is probably is cheap and it does come from China, there is no guarantee it will fit.

Probably Eden guitar neck seconds. If you want cheep look at Eden. I have never used them but you can get reviews about them online to make your mind up. Probably 20 Bucks to ship from china. So that is an expense.

Just buy a squier neck.

Buy an old Squier on Gumtree/Craigslist. You'll pick one up at a fraction of the eBay prices as they are generally way overpriced for secondhand stuff, especially if it's been parted out.

Buy a sexy classic vibe and sell everything but the neck on a tele forum or something haha.

i bought some paddle necks from gfs a few years ago, overall, they were decent and they were less than 50 bucks shipped. one of the issue tho.
- the tuner holes werent aligned properly with the outside of the neck on the rosewood version i bought.
- the frets needed to be re-dressed on the maple version i bought.
but, give those things, still a good buy, it took about a day to fix both problems on both, and then another day to shape them down from the bassball bat size that they were and get them into something manageable and comfy.
its 38 bucks, it will probably need some extra care and attention.

I stumbled on a cheap guitar, 30 bucks at a pawn shop. Nasty plywood beginner thing with clown burst and mile high action. But I loved the headstock and the neck itself seems pretty good, no low spots or buzzing anywhere. Also got hardware, the crap economy bridge (Allparts sells them) the clamshell tailpiece, two Strat like pickups etc. I'm using the bridge, it actually intonates. Got tired of looking for overpriced parted out necks on ebay.
Look at the EY necks, never tried one but the pics look great and free shipping, or a 30 dollar neck with 30 or so more in "free shipping. At least one guy liked his EY neck a lot, he claimed it needed no work.
