I say "new" because it is used... and I used to have one of these and I traded it a year or so ago and missed it. (Not talking about the one I painted green. My original one got the bigsby treatment.)
I dig it. The stock pickups aren't terrible, but I already had a DiMarzio D-Activator bridge pickup and there is a D-Activator neck pickup incoming so it will get a change out. I think the black pickups will look cool on the black guard and body.
I had one of these that I dropped a standard Jaguar trem in along with a AVRI Jag neck pup and WRHB in the bridge. These guitars tend to be a little on the heavy side which is why I traded it away.
I didn't notice this one being heavy. I will have to check when I get home. I DID notice that it looks like newer Japanese neck tint is pretty orange compared to my older stuff.
Nice! Those look sweet. I thought about getting some black paint for the chrome plates and getting a black stop tail and TOM, but I think I will keep it like this. I might get a toggle plate for it though. I have a chrome toggle that would be fun to add to the mix.
Congrats on the jag!!! To put the dimarzio pickups would have been my mods as well... Cool looking guitar.
Now not to be a jerk, but how many guitars do you own by now?

Not a jerk question. I think I might have around twenty or so? Haven't done a count in awhile. In June the roommate is moving out and I will be able to have them all in one place so that will make counting easier.

Thanks! I am liking it a lot.
This is a newer one with the headstock truss rod access. Not vintage correct, but definitely makes tweaks easier.
