So I'm pretty set on buying a TT and a cheapo 1x12 at some point this summer as it seems like everything I need; it has about the right gain range for me and I like the simplicity. I was just wondering if there's any similar priced and sized mini-amp that I would kick myself in the future for not buying instead?

i dont really know much of the spec side of things but i LOVE the look of those new hayden mofo range of amps. i have a tiny terror but if i didnt id be all over those.

the smallest one has an aux input for practising along to your ipod.

I saw that It looked pretty cool,

The other option that's been tempting me is the Fender excelsior pro though which has the benefits of a good speaker, cool colour, and will probably take pedals better.

Seems like it would be giggable. I might have to think on this for a while.

I was similarly excited about the Hayden Mofo but then tried one and didn't like it at all so I recommend caution there.

I'm very fond of the Egnater Tweaker 15 in this kind of range but it might not have enough gain to compete with the TT.

I'm still saving up for a Matamp Mini...I'll be getting a 2x12 at the end of the month, and a low-wattage recording amp is what I'm planning on pairing it with. The Matamps seem to hark back to the early Orange days, and they're UK-based, so...
