Hai guys. Stacey has just got an electronic drum kit (Yamaha DTXplorer) which is pretty cool and has some usable sounds. Mainly it's for her to learn drumming. We'd like to be able to rehearse in silence, just her on the drums, me playing guitar. However all my amps are valve, so no headphones.

Aside from the Jamhub, which is a bit pricey and overkill for a two piece, can you recommend a solution that'd take a guitar input and not sound terrible. I can split the headphones afterwards, but two headphone sockets would be ideal.

Suggest a cheap mixer innit. I don't have time to build one.

Behringer all day long for cheap mixers. I had a 4 track thing that was fine.

If you want to do your impedance fix and sound great just get a Harley Benton American Sound tech21 clone to act as your "amp"

It's a multi-user mixer; everyone has their own unique mix of the inputs through their headphones.. don't fancy hearing the singer much today? Turn him down in your cans.

If I played in a bigger band, I'd defo be checking these out, especially if it's a bit more affordable than the original like Mike has.

it's a brilliant tool. great for songwriting etc especially if you have a lot of fairly complex stuff going on vocally

we've got a jamhub, craig got it cheap on ebay. the amount it'll save us in rehearsal fees over time is worth the outlay, i reckon. it won't replace 'loud' rehearsals, but for writing and stuff it'll be pretty handy.

Oddly, the Joyo doesn't seem to be a direct clone of any of the Jamhub models. But seeing as it's the same price as the Jamhub Bedroom version the appeal fades.
