Coil Splitting a Cool Rails in a jag

I want to coil split my cool rails single coil humbucker in my jags bridge position, with a little switchy that I'll probably fit in between the volume and tone knob.

I've previously taped off 2 of the remaining wires that I guess are now needed, can't remember the colours.

Do I just need any old regular on/on switch, and where should I locate the remaining wires etc..

Sorry, I'm terrible when it comes wiring !!

cheers in advance.

Also could I snip away and solders the wires to the bass cut switch instead ? Would that be possible ?

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Thanks for that... some reason I'd rather avoid push pull...

I wondered whether this is what I was after

I purchased a decent enough on/on switch and I went with the above diagram.

The single coil sounds pretty decent actually !!!

Now I know I'm happy with the sound, I'm gonna drill a hole and place the switch in between the Volume and Tone.
