Somewhat ironic that they've named it after a renowned gay nightclub.

This is where it becomes evident that PGS spoils us with Andy.
I can tell this guitar probably sounds good but WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THOSE RIFFS, MAN?

Its that 'back to basics' stripped down thing with Dano's.
Shame about the CEO's politics because i really like how they stick with alternative build methods and produce value for money gear.
I like how this looks, the demo is gash though.

Watched the video again, I'd be embarrassed to post that video of my playing

The 'tonez' will be there, its just this guy doesn't understand how to get them and that riff is not helping matters.

I did the same thing and let's set the record straight: I couldn't guitar my way out of a wet paper bag but that weird sloppy palm mutey part in the middle is fucking embarrassing.

Anyway, the guitar looks mega cool and just like the Dead On series, I'll be keeping a eye out for them when they hit the used market, in the years to come.

Eh, you guys are being too hard here. He's blatantly playing a guitar part from an actual tune that would work really well in a Gang Of Four/Shellac type affair so it does sound rather sparse out of a full band context, and YES widdlers aint gonna dig it. I liked it, though it's possibly not the best way to demo the guitar. i mean really: Everything that is wrong with guitar is the techy/widdly/blues demographic that is ALWAYS represented in these videos. MOAR MUSIC/LESS WANK.

I'M THE DEVIL(s advocate)

Yeah the playing was (aside from the middle bit) okay to me. Definitely a post-punk sound. The amp/micing or whatever sounds very abrasive however, and this won't help Danelectro sell any of their hatemongering guitars.

Maybe his playing is a deliberate and well placed attack on Danelectro's sales...

Everyone knows that when you demo a guitar you must play da blues...
