I think she lost count. Also the Console has a kickstarter I think? There's been some progress, IIRC

Yeah, kickstarter, but it was suppose to come out 2 years ago... I'd be so pissed if I had payed for it... Also, has cool has the thing looked, it was kind of dome, especially when she'd selling fuzz pedals for 50$ now...

Billy Corgan, probably.

Don't get why the internet exploits of Ms Ever are of such interest to people.

Great pedals, though.

Is she a drama queen?

I'm with George. Lover of drama creates situation for drama.

Also think her pedals are bobbins.

What's the deal with Devi Ever pedals?

How many different fuzz models does one maker need?

she makes alot. thats for sure, from the barely useable to the "how did i ever live without this!"
she is rather flighty at times. i can't or rather won't comment on it too much more.

I must admit I've never had the opportunity to try any but I like the fact she has that experimental bent - much the same way as Aen does with Dwarfcraft. It's not for everyone but there are always people looking for something to explore new noisy ground. Even though i *may* consider some of her antics as possibly a bit drama-prone i do get the impression she is heartfelt about everything, and additionally i actually LIKE to see the personality to the forefront of any brand.

I'm sure Aen wont mind the comparison again, but I was originally sold on Dwarfcraft because of both the GD AND Aens character. Rather than just *standard pedal rehash no#10000* it's like the pedals reflect something uniquely 'him'... and I like that.

I find Devi an interesting character and I'm glad she's around in the business. The whole Billygate thing was superb entertainment as well.

I can't say I know much about it either, from what I undertand though I think the summary is:

Devi Ever pedals is a pedal manufacturer that was originally known as Effector 13

Devi Ever the person used to be a man called Tim

Devi Ever makes virtually exclusively fuzz effects, mostly high gain and OTT - and rather a lot of them.

Devi Ever 's guitar hero is/was Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumkins) and a couple of years ago she made a dual pedal dedicated to his Siamese Dream sound and gave it to him, and he didnt like it much or didnt appreciate it much, and then Devi Ever got into a bit public spat about it, and winged on about it again and again like a cry baby. It was rather undignified and sad.

Is there anything else one should know?

Yeah

Billy corgan showed himself to be a hugely transphobic dreadful piece of shit during that. 'Crybaby' or not its no wonder she was so upset. Billy was the bigger baby by a long way in my opinion. Make sure you know both sides

I don't care about Devi ever, but corgan can fuck off and stew in his own irrelevance

From what I heard, Billy acted like a bit of a douche a complete douche (EDIT: George and brandonwinmill replied while I was typing this) so I think it was pretty embarrassing and undignified on both sides.

The pedals sound cool, but the sheer number of them is a bit offputting actually. A few of them seem like exercises in "how many witty names and colourful descriptions can I come up with for fuzzes?" rather than devices that make interesting sounds. The Godzilla looks cool, mainly for the fact that it has a lolcat firing lasers from its eyes, but honestly? I bet Mike could make something similar for less, and you could have any design you want. Benecol could put a pic of your mum on it if you ask nicely.

Oh ok...Whoa. I have a new question. If he really didn't like the pedal then what to do? Don't get me wrong. I have class and classy people don't do shit like criticize someone who gives you something. People give me things all the time and i love them for the thought if nothing else. That is typical rock star questionable behavior anyways. He wouldn't attack Tim for being trans right?

Well, yeah. But I think she should've just concluded ''fuck you, Corgan, you're actually an arsehole" and then quickly moved on, for her own sanity if nothing else.

Ill try and find the message he sent

it was fucking childish and he looked like a total bully. Threatening with lawyers to clean her out and leave her penniless, being transphobic, just a horrible human being
