Looking for someone to paint a headstock

Post by finboy »

Long and short of it, I bought punks bound neck and want to match the headstock with my surf green squier jag. Reranch refuse to ship to Canada, so I am looking for someone to refinish the headstock and ship it up to me.

Goal,,,

Offering it to anyone on here who needs it, too many broncos lack an arm, will get you the cash for it too.

make some sort of random requirement, like name the two former forum members who fucked me over in trades and purchases.

then you can offer a price.

You can if you want to deal with shipping it out, I can do it from here and save you the hassle. I was just going to sell it for purchase price + shipping, people vouching sounds good though

I'd give a right nut for a bronco trem arm and collet. Not mine but a right nut all the same.

Why won't Reranch ship to you?

I live about 5 miles from the Reranch guy.

Something about shipping chemicals across the border. It is possible to ship paint, it requires a one time communication with the govt iirc, but for some reason he doesn't want to do it.

LMAO!

maybe thats why re-ranch will ship to me, as i've filed god know how much paperwork with the government to allow for paints and fuck tones of tother stuff ..

i actually filled out the stuff that re-ranch needed years back on the concept i might someday buy paint from them.. filed it with both US/Cad governments, opened a re-ranch account, scanned and sent them the paper worlk

then i think i bought a small tin of paint.. to use on my camaro.. ended up not being the right red (at the time.. back before i bought new front fenders, and put fender skins on the rear... but anyways) so i used it for a bunch of different paintings..

I haven't ordered anything from them since..

Cooter / Taylor

I think everyone on this board would give a nut from someone (and a few maybe their own) for the bronco trem arm..
I'm gonna swing by my buddies machine shop today to see if he can take a CNC tracing of the whole thing, and if so, i'ma have him make me 10 - 15 of them, so that ss.o will have a nice little supply.

if not.. Finboy and I want to make sure that this goes to a good home and stays in the family..
so, yr both on the list of possibles.

This would be great. I've made drawings from a Bronco collet and tried to get two different machinist to to make some
but both have flaked on me. I can send you the measurments/drawing if you want it.

I'll bow out of the running on the original since I'm sure there's some that's been looking a whole lot longer than me.
But, please put me down for one of the CNC ones.

well I've ended up with no time today to do so, but based on the convo I had with him via text message it is a definite maybe on making it happen..
as well as finally get some of those "kurt cobain" jag plates done up...

so now we've a list of things to do, and possibly a v. profitable side bay gig for him and myself.

but if you could Email me the measurement that would be fantastic.. always nice to have more info..
i think you have my email addy.. or one of them.. either way they all go to my phone.
