thinking of splashing on a few nice bits
not spent any on gear for a while (sg was last purchase) fed up with having naff badly paint mdf as a pedalboard.
so thinking of a nice small board with a better power supply and nice patch cables. not sure wether to get one big enough to hold my wah or not, might just leave a 9v power lead free for it and have it next to my board.
not sure to go for just what i actually use or add more pedals for fun/just because. should go bigger and leave space or cram it?
currently i run:
boost>tuner>channel switch(either full size orange or mini one)
plus i still have the phase 45, fab od and belcat delay pedal in my drawer doing nothing
heard good things about the new commuter board and the diago's mini supply. not planning on making any more pedal purchases (though really like the earthquaker speaker cranker and tc spark/mini spark boosters)
pics? ideas? thoughts?

I just bought a pedaltrain mini, and whilst it's expensive for what it is, it's a great piece of kit. The micro9 power supply is great, but you may want some isolators depending on the pedals you are running. I use both the diago isolator and the gigrig virtual battery, I would definitely recommend the diago - it gives out more power and is all round better made, the virtual battery feels rather cheap.
If you are using only a few low power pedals, a battery power supply could be a good option. Pedaltrain are bringing out the volto soon, which will fit perfectly under their mini and nano boards, also joyo have just released their own version, however I haven't read any reviews of their's yet.

yeah, the benton one is a bit big but thanks away matey.
battery maybe be the way to go, for my needs and pedals it'd last a while. though £30 on a supply vs £80-90 for a volto (google rough price).

My son threw out a Johnny Shredfreak in favour of an old linear PSU. I think JSF changed supplier at some point and the new ones were too noisy - see PSU Noise thrad.Benmurray85 wrote: i know everyone loves the johnny shredfreaks on her but thought id throw it out there.........

so pay day cometh and i've ok'd it with kay to treat myself a little.
so if i keep my current fender patch cables, my shopping list is
1 x pedalboard
1 x power supply
1 x pedal purchase (some kinda drive pedal) suggest me something nice
thinking a diago micro power as it'll only be a couple of pedals and nothing high powered.
as for the board i've got it down to four possibles
diago commuter (as i can fit the wah on)
diago gigman (hard case and looks nice)
pedal train nano (and have the wah off board)
pedaltrain mini (for extra space)
thoughts?

I use a voodoo labs pedal power 2 plus and it's fantastic. It may be pricey though..I'm not sure. I like that it has a power starve or power sag feature.
