It appears to be the reflection of a white picket fence. I think it's just in need of polish.

I don't think I would trust ANYONE to do ANYTHING to that guitar. Simply incredible. I'd play it from time to time if it were mine, but it really does deserve to be preserved. I have to wonder how it was kept in such great condition in the first place...even with closet classic case queen type guitars you tend to see spots where the lining in the case has worn into the paint.

Not my favorite color, but...insane.

Australia, as you know, is entirely populated by venomous and poisonous animals. So dense is the concentration of toxins in the air that it functions as a natural preservative for all guitar finishes.

Too nice for me... Guaranteed I ding it within the first week. My own Jag took about a week and a half to get it's first.... this was just after I'd face planted my amp when I bent down to fiddle with the settings and stood on the cable which pressed against my knee and sent me face firsts into the amps controls. Rather the let go of my new guitar and use my hands to stop me falling I held onto the guitar and took one in the chops. Two days later I picked up and smacked it off something random? Big dunt in the neck.

This think needs to be in a museum for everyone's piece of mind.... Sonic Youth should be bared from looking at it

^ hahahahaha, i tried to keep my jagstang nice, hell i tried to keep every guitar i ever had nice, but the more i fretted (ha pun) about keeping it mint, the more i fuct it up. so just kinda said screw it, and started playing them, stopped polishing them, i used to keep my avri in tip top form, oiled the board damn near monthly, along with string changes and set it up everytime i changed strings. if there was the slightest hint of dust in a pot i took the whole thing apart and cleaned it. i babied that thing for the 2 years i had it, still ended up putting a nice pencil lead sized ding in the butt, tho you could hardly see it. i even kept it in its case between songs during practice, only gigged it out twice.

Still take care of it, but after it was dinged a couple of times I stopped caring and have really never damaged it since. Was kinda relieved after it took a few knocks... less stress

I trust myself to pick up a brand new avri jag from my local shop if I'm trying out an amp or pedal without fear of putting a scratch on it. I think I'd treat this if I owned it like someone else's brand new guitar. I couldn't play it out, and I couldn't leave it on a stand, but I wouldn't hand it over to a museum out of fear of a scratch. The owner says he plans to record with it, which probably falls within my definition of careful playing. If it had sentimental value, I'd keep it unless I needed the money.

Keep coming back to look at this thing.... Anyone know where this guy lives? Anyone pathological enough to kill and steal for a bag of chips and a blow from the finest of cheap whores?
