NGD; jazzy

So after a few months of paying small bits here and there i finally got myself my FIRST jazzmaster. its one of those blacktop pawn shop special vintage modified or what the fuck ever fenders, i got it from jim. which, i cannot thank enough for letting me pay like i did, he gave me one hell of a deal!
anywho, PICS!

i apologize for the crap pics, my phone isnt the best and im all jacked up on coffee!!!!!
anywho. i know its not a "real" jazzy since its missing the rythm circuit, the radius/fret size is off, and the bridge pup is different, but its still cool.
its in GREAT shape, there is a small dent in the back, and a "mojo" hole drilled into the headstock near the high e tuner, there is a random screw on the back of the headstock and a couple of the screws are stripped out, but thats no big deal, i will deal with that later.
a couple of the saddles were missing grub screws, luckily i had some jazzy/jag saddles so i swapped them out almost instantly, i shimmed the neck with a bit of my cig pack, which is strange for me to do, i rarely ever shim. I got the action just about perfect, but the bridge is all the way down, and i will have to ajust the saddles to get it any lower, but as it is, its pretty fucking decent, and i like my stuff med/low so its a bit more on the medium side, no choke out when i bend. the pups were wicked fucking close to the strings so i had to ajust that immediately. I really like the knobs that jim put on there, very 70's feeling, or are they stock? i dunno.
i think the bridge is something special, im not sure tho. and he replaced the og trem with a jap one, didn;t have an arm handy, but i made one for the mustanguar that i got from hannan a couple months back, so i popped that bad boy in there.
Its rubbing on something, so i will have to get that sorted. but im more concerned with getting the intonation set right now, its pretty damn close, but could be better.
Sorry jim, i had to take the sticker off, im not a sticker on guitar person. and in all reality, i think i have a jazzmaster logo somewhere, this small font shit just isn't going to cut it for that much longer. and i don't like the headstock access to the truss rod. WHY? you ask.
-well the compound heel access rod that fender uses is probly the most effective design, it doesn't take much at all to counter act the string pull. I strung it up with 11-56, with a plain third, i wanted to get a wound g, but the store didn't have a set in stock with a wound g. kinda sucks, but whatever.
I swear to you all i had to make at least 8 FULL turns to get the bastard just right, with slight relief at the 3rd.
the fretting is decent but the flatter board and bigger frets are not my style, i like the 7.25 board and vintage fret feel. im not sure if im going to just "get used to it" or swap out the neck completely.
-Im also playing with the idea of adding a jaguar rythm plate and the three slider plate, i already have the three slider plate and 2/3 switches, but i will have to make a new guard and do some more routing for all of that.
all in all, its worth what i paid for it. and i think its probly worth 600 to somone if it was new with a gig bag, but its definitly not...... a real jazzy. it actualy feels alot like a toronado to me. I was going to do a demo of it today, but i lost my camera some time after 5 p.m. today, and the only amp i have to use right now is a behringer v-amp, which is probly my most hated amplifier.
