No shitting way. Wow. Is that a Gretsch pickup?

Don't Fender do a Filtertron style pickup of their own these days?

Wish the picture was in colour to see the finish. Looks like a tobacco burst, which would be sweet. Hope they do the white one

they said this on farcebook

"Gordon got to road test the spanking new Coronado reissue in the Fender Airstream session today. It's a beaut!"

Never thought they would do it

Unfortunately half the guitar is covered up, but I did notice the pickup selector is not in the same spot as mine.

It seems like you would hit that new switch when you are strumming (assuming it's real) If Squier reissues the Coronado, it will be done proper.

I wish there were more picks, especially of the headstock.

It looks further back than yours. More like the scratchplate would stop you hitting it?

I will not buy one unless it looks exactly like this:

Because anything else I'd rather just spend a few extra bux (or less) on a vintage one.

I would also CONSIDER one in black/black

This would also be acceptable. I like how all three of these Coronados have the Mustang tremolo. I need to get a replacement arm made for my Coronado II.

that is one ugly ass guitar.

Someone posted THIS over on Offset. It's supposedly a Fender video of a new reissue Starcaster (albeit one with a fucking TOM) but in the background there's a Coronado bass.

Chris, did your friend give you any more info about the Coronado in the picture?

That's a stunner - although I bet somebody put oil in the trem mechanism, hence the finish discolouration.

that is one dumb ass statement.

of course there is a detractor because that is the automatic stand of the bell end... what is not to like? It's a picture of a semi, doesn't even show the fender headstock!? Me thinks ye can go fuck yer maw

I think that's just a weird reflection. The trem on a Coronado II doesn't need oil.
