Jag upper switch... country of origin and compatibility ?

Painting? Routing? Set-up tips? Or just straight-up making a guitar from scratch? Post here, and post pics!

Jag upper switch... country of origin and compatibility ?

Post by othomas2 »

We got delivered a Jag switch at the shop by accident and it just so happens my Japanese upper Jag switch is on the way out, what are the chances eh ?

But before I buy...
... anyone know if a US Fender switch will fit into a japanese cavity with the screwholes matching etc ??

I know there can be issues with the roller plate / pickguards and other part not being compatible ... but what about these ?

thanks
Owen

The two position switchcraft switch will work fine on Japanese and AVRI. :)

Thanks HNB, that clears that up.

It's a Fender / Switchcraft switch so all good. I will get that bought and fit it.
