I've had one of these for ages not used it much due to a volume drop when I switch it on. However I just found this pic that claims they have an internal volume pot. small silver screw to the left of the black box with 4/4 on it, anyone tried it?

looks like a trim pot, before you adjust it take a photo in case you need to return it to how it was

Or mark it with a permanent pen like we used to in the olden days.

Yeah, snap a photo or mark it with a pen...that way, the worst that can happen is it sounds the same as it did to begin with! I've learned that the hard way in the past...

EDIT: Benecol beat me to it. :P

i hear a lot of online bitching about volume drop in tremolo pedals. is it not just because of the nature of the effect?

genuinely interested..........

I thought it was generally a percieved volume loss rather than an actual volume loss due to the volume cuttting in and out.

While yes, it is the nature of the beast, in that on a full depth trem with a symmetrical wave, you're kicking out half as much signal, I do find I prefer a trem with a bit of a volume boost, or even a volume control. It doesn't need much, just a nudge.
