mando(ish) bridge help

Post by dezb1 »

Anyone know where I can get a 4 string toploading mandocaster type bridge? I bought this a few weeks ago and the intonation is shite so I need a new bridge... I've got a toploading telecaster bridge that I could butcher but I'd like to take the easy option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

They have them here.

I've also seen them on ebay from the seller "bezdez". Try searching for
cigar box guitar bridge on ebay as well.
Smells like Rock n' Roll

cheers...

Worked out the problem - when they installed the peizo they didn't shave the bridge down so the action was high, took the peizo out as it wasn't very good any way - lower action sorted the intonation problem and made it easier to play

Might still get a new bridge as it'd look the business

Got my bridge needs sorted watched this video last night. one of the fitters in the machineshop at my work is going the make me a top loading telecaster barrel style bridge with the correct string spacing based on this video... result.

Going to replace the electronics and fit a new pickup (lipstick?)

Then re-paint the body... I'm thinking green
