heyyyyy heres my new bass i put a GFS tele bridge pickup in it and it works good. eventually i might swap the pickguard for a musicmaster one but for now im enjoying the fucked up stickeryness of it all.. I added a trash sticker and the pickup.

next mod is.... new tuners? the stock ones are pretty baaaaad
and maybe a 4 saddle bridge?

I'd check the specs of the shorty Gretch basses, the spacing is narrower on these than a reg bass. Maybe a Sq Mustang bass too.

Does the intonation bother you? I was going to change the one in my Musicmaster bass, even went as far as buying a bridge, until I realised that the intonation was fine and there was no need to change the bridge.

I'm still on the fence about the bridge on mine. If I put in the effort, I can get the stock bridge to intonate tolerably well, but I'm sure four saddles would be easier than two. The tuners had already been upgraded when I bought it from astro; he'd be the one to tell you which ones they were.

i'm not super upset with the intonation but if I want this to be my main bass the intonation is gonna piss off my friends--

i'm more worried about having to tune between songs because the tuners feel so bad. i guess both need 2 be addressed-- i know i can find a cheap bridge but i dont want to spend 50 bucks on a set of tuners
