Moog is making some new pedals

Post by finboy »

Having trouble uploading the YouTube vid because mobile sucks, but $140-200, delay, boost, overdrive, ringtone, and something else.

They got Troy van leeuwen to demo the , and he is wearing some fluevog swordfish shoes too, double win.

Weirdly, I'm most interested in the drive pedal in that bunch. Wouldn't mind a poke at the delay as well, though. The drive sound on the delay is really nice.

I am waiting for an 8 step ehx sequencer to get in, I would love to try that in place of the expression pedal, all kinds of weirdness

There's a whole story behind those, a web dealer put them up on their site before Moog announced them, then took them down. Usual talk on forums about vapourware and features of gear that's hasn't been released, and there weren't any pics either.

Anyways, there's a second demo of pedals playing together, no notes but you can tell the ring modulator is on at the beginning, there's a tremolo somewhere in there and lots of delay:

Looks like they fixed a lot of the problems with the first series: the prices are lower, they now have true bypass, and the boxes are smaller.

They now look like 1950s gear.

f*kk edit problems can't embed: foogin' demo

Not only have I been hankering after a trem, but I've been heavily lusting after a new drive. Doubt I could justify that amount of money for the use I'd get out of a trem, but the drive, hell yeah.

Christmas is coming...

The OD seems fairly versatile, with lots of range (some sounds like shit though)... the use of the expression pedal opens up surprisingly interesting possibilities.
