I inherited this old thing:

Isn't she purty? :D

No. The answer is no.

So...

I stripped the body. Began collecting parts. Got this neck:

ABSOLUTELY FREE.

Yeah!

She's coming... Her name is Jessie.

Is that a strat bridge? Please say they didn't route the back out for the strat bridge?

Is the trem hole filled in?

It was a floyd, but hardtailed, so no route.

It's a technical thing, but I believe you will need some frets.

For those who can't take a hint, Ackermann is my obsession.

I'm not decided on pickups. I want to go with lipstick tubes, but this wasn't intended to be an APTBS tribute jag. It's just my taste, I love overburst, lipstick tubes, and I was planning to go with a white guard. I wanted my own sig, though... Not an Ackermann, as much as I love him. I might stick to a tort guard, and a set of Roadhouse pickups... Just undecided.

Thoughts?

Oh my god, if that 12-string neck is 24 inch scale length and at all usable, someone needs to use it to make a 12-string Jag.

Alternatively, give it to me and I'll make a 12-string Jag, it's one of my dream guitars.
