got this from dgner8 FOR FREE! Im not sure why, but he offered it to me, and i was like, sure, fuck it, thanks man!
got it a couple of days ago but haven't been able to dick with it till last night. i set it up, and tried to figure out what was going on with the tone knobs(they aren't doing anything tho all of the wiring seems original and intact) the vol pot was a lil scratchy but that was an easy lil fix. im amazed and how insanely clean this thing is! there are NO dents or dings anywhere that i can see, there is a slight paint blem by the neck pocket, but im guessing that was from the factory. the neck fit is TIGHT on this beast.
anywho, it sounds pretty decent, tho i will probly hang it on the wall and rarely ever use it cuz i don't want to scratch it up. i know, it was a free guitar and its an old squire, but i'd like to keep it nice.

the neck is super stupid glossy and normally i would change out those tuners asap, but they are still nice and tight and hold tune rather well, the trem also works superbly.
when i went to take the neck off to check for any dates or marks or anything like that, there was still some plastice shrunk around the screw and the neck plate. i think i remember dgner8 saying it was an 89. and that blows my mind!

Total no-nonsense "mail order out of 80s comic book" rawkocaster.

i ran it thru some paces for practice tonight. im def going to shim the neck up about..... 1/16 of an inch, the action is perfect right now, but its so close to the body that with the pup ring its not very comfy to palm mute and my pick kept hitting the pup ring
