I have a Duncan Antiquity II on one of my Jags and they sound really good. Far better than the stock ones. But recently I wanted to go boutique for my thinline. I found that the Novaks and the Lollars intersting but they are very expensive. Then I stumbled upon bullock guitar pickups ( http://www.bullockguitarpickups.com/ ). He makes custom pickups at a reasonable price. I told him I wanted a vintage jag tone, but a little angier, with a bell-like glassy tones of a strat. After installation, the pickups exceeded my expectations. Good string to string clarity with jangly surf tone. I could say that these are better than my duncans, especially that they are customised. The owner Matt Bullock is also great to deal with. Quick responses to emails and constant updates. His pickups are definitely worth more than how much he gives them for. I'd most likely be getting the rest of my pickups from this dude!

He's a member here right? I remember watching the video of a pickup he made for a Jagstang to sound like a wide ranger I think.

O.k., I got it to work. It apparently uses third party cookies (originating from another website), which I block.
