1968 Fender LTD

So I have never seen one of these until today... only 36 made apparently.

i saw a thing about these, intriguing, fender tried to get into the archtop world a few times over the years but has yet to really break.

Yeah, wasn't this another Rossmeisl design? There was a two-pickup version called the Montego I think.
Edit: just clicked the link, it is one of his.

No, there wasn't.
The Montego I and Montego II have regular archtops, the LTD has the German Carve.

The top carve and the pickguard-mounted controls are really the only differences though.
I think it looks great, love the carve and the cutaway. Like the Coronado, it's something familiar in vibe done just a bit more Fendery.
