Hit the button on ebay for this a couple of hours ago, so obviously I don't have it in hand yet but...
Lester Guitars http://lesterguitars.wordpress.com seem to be a super small British firm just getting started making obscure fender copies. I liked the look of it and have been hankering after something hollow or semi and there is no way I was getting a real Coronado for 250quid so seems worth a punt.

I seem to remember someone posting about these and their giant asshole (cream cover visible through f-hole) before. That one looks marvelous.

ppl use shoe polish to tint maple on guitar necks.... the finish on that neck looks like shoe polish

Could be, it's clearly had some kind of dark rub judging by those highlighted scratches. Could use dark grain filler for that too, like the TV finish method.

I'll report fully and take better pictures (maybe even a video demo who knows) when it gets here. But like I say Coronado for 250quid, innit! The new fender reissue I think I've seen price at £600(ish) pre-order and I don't like any of the colours, except for maybe the black.
Plus I've always got the 14 days distance selling regs, time period to send it back if it is a total dog. Bottom line is it was worth a punt I think.
